Climate Readiness Advisory is an independent practice founded by Alexandre Germouty. Its focus is the work that gives a climate funding proposal substance: a defined problem, sound evidence, an appropriate financing strategy and a feasible response.

Alexandre Germouty
Alexandre Germouty leads Climate Readiness Advisory. The practice supports the work between a climate ambition and a project that can be assessed.
His background brings together international law, finance and environmental management, with experience in the United Nations system, sustainable-trade legal work and climate-finance proposal preparation. That combination informs the questions he brings to a project: who has the authority to act, what the evidence supports, how the finance works and where responsibilities sit.
His published research examines climate cooperation in Southeast Asia, climate migration in the Pacific and the environmental consequences of green finance in the Mekong basin. It gives clients a view of how policy, institutions and local conditions interact. The papers are available to read, including their methods, assumptions and limits.
