What is collected and why

What is collected and why

Enquiries use the name, email address, message and any project or professional context you choose to provide, to assess and answer your request. Course-interest messages identify the course and delivery preferences. They do not enrol you or authorise a payment.

Course-update sign-ups use your email address, language preference and affirmative consent. You can withdraw by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing the privacy contact. Enquiries and course-interest messages are not automatically added to an updates list.

Do not send confidential project documents, identity documents, financial-account details or personal information about other people through these forms. A suitable channel can be agreed if further information is needed.

Basis for processing

Basis for processing

Replies to professional enquiries are intended to rely on the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, or steps at your request before a contract where applicable. Optional update emails rely on consent. The publisher must confirm the appropriate basis for the actual circumstances and record consent for update emails.

Services involved

Services involved

  • Firebase Hosting (Google): serves the site and may process technical request information such as IP addresses.
  • FormSubmit: relays submitted forms to the practice’s email address. Its documentation states that submissions are retained in its archive for 30 days.
  • The practice’s email provider: receives and stores correspondence. The provider’s identity and contractual arrangements have not yet been confirmed for this notice.
  • Google Fonts: supplies the typeface. Loading it sends a request, including an IP address, to Google.

Provider roles, processing locations and any safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area are still awaiting account-holder confirmation. This notice does not claim that processing is confined to the EEA.

Retention and rights

Retention and rights

The proposed retention limit for enquiries that do not lead to work is 12 months after the last substantive contact. The publisher must confirm and implement this period. Client and accounting records need a separate retention schedule reflecting applicable obligations. Update records should be removed on withdrawal, with only the minimum suppression information needed to honour the opt-out. Hosting and email log periods remain to be confirmed.

Subject to the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact alex.germouty@climate-readiness.com with enough information to identify the request; do not send identity documents unless needed and an appropriate channel is agreed. You can also make a complaint to the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.
